What Artisan does well
Artisan bundles the data with the agent. Ava draws on a contact database Artisan puts at more than 250 million people enriched from over 22 sources, reads intent signals such as funding rounds and leadership hires, and can run campaigns on website visitors it de-anonymises. It sends in your reps' names from your own domains, and the dialer queues call steps so a human rep can click and dial.
It also has scale. Artisan raised a $25 million round in April 2025, and its site says more than 6,000 sales teams use it. Reviewers on sites such as MarketBetter credit fast, guided setup and a clean interface. If you want one vendor for data, sequencing and a dialer, and you are comfortable scoping a plan with a salesperson, Artisan is a serious option.
Where the two split: who presses send
Artisan's pricing page describes Ava as autonomous by default and adjustable by design: you can require approval, lock tone and set banned phrases. BOSRAI starts at the other end. Every message waits for you until you have approved five drafts on a channel, and then only that channel moves to autopilot. The practical difference shows up in week one. With Artisan you decide what to restrict. With BOSRAI you decide what to release.
Where the two split: pricing you can see
Artisan does not publish prices. Its plans are described by volume, about 2,500 or 6,000 leads contacted a month, and the price is scoped on a call. Third-party estimates disagree with each other, which is what happens when a vendor does not publish; The CRO Report put it at $1,500 to $2,000 a month on annual terms in January 2026. BOSRAI's prices are on the pricing section: $99 a month for 1,500 verified contacts, $199 for 5,000, monthly.
Where the two split: channels
Artisan's site talks about email and social and does not name LinkedIn. In January 2026 TechCrunch reported that LinkedIn had banned Artisan's company presence and later reinstated it after Artisan removed LinkedIn references from its marketing. Its dialer queues calls for human reps rather than calling on its own. We found no WhatsApp or SMS.
BOSRAI sends email, LinkedIn from your own account inside a daily cap, and WhatsApp only after a person has engaged, from your own number, between 07:00 and 21:00 in their time. If your buyers answer on WhatsApp, as many do in the Gulf, Turkey and South Asia, that is the deciding row.
What reviewers complain about
Recurring complaints in third-party reviews are generic-sounding emails, thinner data outside North America and below VP level, and pricing that is unclear until the sales call. Treat those as signals to test during a trial, not as verdicts; every tool in this category draws the first complaint.
Who should pick Artisan
A sales team that wants a bundled database, an autonomous agent that runs in reps' names, and a dialer for human callers, and that is happy to agree a volume-based plan with a salesperson.
Who should pick BOSRAI
A founder or small team who wants to see the price before talking to anyone, approve messages first, and reach buyers on WhatsApp as well as email and LinkedIn. Also anyone selling into the EU who wants the Article 50 disclosure handled for them.

Questions people ask
Is BOSRAI an Artisan alternative?
Yes. Both are AI BDRs that find prospects, write outreach, handle replies and book meetings. The differences are published pricing, approval by default rather than autonomy by default, WhatsApp, and the AI disclosure line.
How much does Artisan cost?
Artisan's pricing page does not show prices. On 14 September 2026 it listed a Team plan at about 2,500 leads contacted a month, Scale at about 6,000 and a custom Enterprise plan, each scoped on a sales call. Third-party estimates vary; The CRO Report put Artisan at $1,500 to $2,000 a month on annual terms in January 2026.
Can Artisan's Ava wait for approval before sending?
Yes. Artisan describes Ava as autonomous by default with an approval mode you can turn on. BOSRAI works the other way: approval is the default and each channel moves to autopilot after five approvals.
Does Artisan send on LinkedIn or WhatsApp?
Artisan's site describes outreach by email and social and a dialer that queues calls for reps. We found no WhatsApp or SMS on its site. BOSRAI sends email, LinkedIn and, after someone has engaged, WhatsApp.
Which one discloses that the message came from an AI?
BOSRAI adds a disclosure line to every message sent without a person approving it, as Article 50 of the EU AI Act asks since 2 August 2026. We found no AI disclosure statement on Artisan's site.
